HP Photosmart Printing Blank Pages Selectively

Hi there. I'm having a bit of a problem with our printer. When I try to print out documents from Word or Notepad the printer (HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One) sounds like it's printing for a while, but then spits out two blank pages instead. However, I tried printing from a website and that worked fine. I did try looking the problem up but I mustn't be using the right words because all that comes up is stuff about a blank page being printed out before a standard print and other irrelevent stuff. Still, it's probably something simple that I'm missing.

I'd be grateful for any advice/assistance.

Have you or anyone else (kids maybe) hit print countless times before using the printer proper? You can clear your print history if you click on the icon, possibly the small one in your task bar, and then try again.
