Nothing for me this week either. I've not picked up one new release in April which is unusual for me. Probably won't get all that much in May either bar Max Payne and Dragons Dogma.

Not sure about Prototype. The first game was fun in parts but overall it was pretty disappointing. I will read some reviews and probably wait until it is very cheap.

The date i give is always the Friday at the end of the week. And the games pictured always come out between Monday and that Friday. So The Walking Dead is out this week.

Well i got The Witcher 2's realease date wrong but a lot of stores broke the street date on that one...

prototype 2 is fun but short in the story department, i think its definately one of those games you should wait til it falls in price. cant be bothered by the side missions, never could with these sandbox games.

As for The Walking Dead 'game', I don't care how many people are singing its praises, for essentially a 2 hour game Telltale have the gall to charge £15.99 [On PSN] p*ss right off.

Siren: Blood Curse was an episodic update of the original game and they bundled all of the episodes onto a disc after they'd all been released digitally, releasing it for £20. A bargain as that was for a COMPLETE game.

Are you sure that £16 doesn't buy you the whole season? Telltale games usually work that way. I haven't looked at it though, so you're probably right.

Yeah the single episode is 400msp on Xbox so £15.99 would be for the full season. I found the first episode very enjoyable! It really captures the comic book style in terms of story/dialogue and graphics. I love how it takes place in tandem with the original story. It gives you a real sense of place

Open world mutant adventure Prototype 2 managed to wrap its tendrils around the UK all-formats chart this week, debuting in first place.

But it failed to match launch week sales of the first Prototype, despite it launching on a Tuesday and therefore having a longer time on sale.

Prototype 2 did however manage to sell more than other recent number ones Kinect Star Wars and Witcher 2 in their respective launch weeks.

Otherwise, it was a quiet week for new releases. Crash Time 4, the only other fresh launch, failed to chart altogether.

Witcher 2, last week's number one, fell to sixth. The rest of the top 10 remained largely unchanged: FIFA Street remained second, with FIFA 12, Mass Effect 3 and Kinect Star Wars filling out the rest of the top five.
