Another stupid thing I've noticed is if you delete mission saves you any then replay missions - how stupid is that!
So, if you are on one of the last missions you have to keep 6 save slots to replay the previous missions
Dishonored sales exceed Bethesda's own expectations
Yes, launching new IP is a gamble. But when it pays off, it pays off big.
And that has proved to be Bethesda’s reward for launching new IP Dishonored in October. Not only has the game been a critical and commercial success in its own right, but it has successfully become a fully-fledged IP of its own that will reap rewards for (hopefully) years to come.
"I can tell you that Dishonored is far exceeding our sales expectations, which is especially cool considering it’s new IP facing a host of well-established franchises this quarter," Bethesda PR boss Pete Hines told Destructoid.
"We did terrific numbers again this past weekend, both in stores and on Steam, where Dishonored was listed as the No.1 selling title over the holiday weekend. And Dishonored has really sold well overseas.
"We’re very pleased and appreciate all the fans that have supported Dishonored and Arkane. We clearly have a new franchise."
Dishonored: DLC trailer features decapitation, rap music - Promo video for Dunwall City Trials add-on
Bethesda has released a trailer for its recently announced Dishonored DLC – Dunwall City Trials. The video provides a first look at the new challenges of the add-on content, all of which is played out in typically up-close and brutal fashion. Music for the trailer comes courtesy of serial YouTube game rap specialist, Dan Bull.
The Dishonored Dunwalls City Trials DLC will be released 11 December on Steam, PSN, and Xbox Live for $5/£3.99/400 MS Points. Watch the video here: http://youtu.be/mLcZ7qIeUSI
Dishonored DLC 'The Knife of Dunwall' lands next month
Dishonored will receive its second digital content add-on, The Knife of Dunwall, this April.
Bethesda announced the DLC will launch worldwide on April 16th for $9.99 (800 MS Points) on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The new content has you assuming a separate role from the main game’s protagonist, and adds new weapons and powers. It differs from the game’s December 2012 DLC, Dunwall City Trials, in that it provides new story content rather than challenge maps.
Dishonored launched in October 2012 to both critical acclaim and commercial success. Bethesda VP Pete Hines told MCV a month prior to the release that Bethesda wanted the new IP to be a phenomenon on par with Skyrim.
