Paper Mario

I know a lot of us downloaded this from Virtual Console due to the fact barely anyone bought it originally, and the game isn't that old to go in Blast From The Past so I'll stick it here.

Anyways, I'm really enjoying it. I'm on Chapter 3 now and at this rate I'll have it done by the end of the week. It's all very similar to The Thousand Year Door, but since when has that been a bad thing. One of the main reasons why I love these games is the rather funny scripts they have and this one doesn't disappoint. I was rather worried at first that the ability to press A to add power to your attacks was not in this one, but after a while I gained that ability too so it's all good.

The graphics are still pretty good. Of course, they're less hi-res than it's sequel, but it's just as beautiful/

I'm one of the few people who still have a boxed version of the original, which makes me quite happy :)

It is a brilliant game, and I would happily download it again if I hadn't spent the remainder of my Wii points on Lylat Wars a few weeks back...

A much as I enjoyed Paper Mario on the N64, I preferred the prequel (Mario RPG) and spin-off (Superstar Saga) a lot more than this and Thousand Year Door. I am hoping Super Paper Mario re-kindles my love for this particular franchise of Mario games
