What's the DLC pack called that has this? Also, how does it work?

Cheers

yeah i know about the quest, but it sounds long and no fun at all. I'd honestly rather just spend 150 points and get rid of it.

The Vile Lair

Just pick up the purgeblood salts found in the lair and activate the font of renewal.

That was a pain man, but i just got on with it, whats i found funny but annoying in connection with Vamperism was the fact that later you get the choice of becoming a vampire. Why would i want to become a Vampire after i spent so long trying to get the cure.

Deepscorn Hollow (place) is an underground lair southeast of Leyawiin catered to infamous characters.

The Hollow becomes the player's property after the Deepscorn Hollow quest is completed. It is added by the Vile Lair official mod.

It's okay, I found it. It just took a while to appear on my journal, then 15 minutes of fumbling about to cure vampirism.

Now I can half-enjoy this game again.

I've just encountered some vamps in my game. Some talking statue asked me to free them from their torment, deadric artifact, evil book, yadda yadda yadda. Is there any way of dealing with these suckers without getting infected?

Some races have a naturally high level of resist disease, such as Wood elves. Use an enchanted blade, preferably with a fire spell of some kind - these tend to dispatch them swiftly. I picked up a Claymore of the Blaze off a vanquished foe and it is superb, dealing out some hefty fire damage. Also make sure you take a few cure disease potions with you. If you can't find a decent enchanted weapon, then make one if you have access to the Arcane Uni or if you have the highly recommended DLC - The Wizard's Tower which comes with the facilities to enchant items once you splash out 2000 gold on the Magetallow candles.

A great blade to pick up is the Umbra sword from the Ayleid ruins of Vindasil, not far from the Imperial City. It is actaully part of a quest but when you hand it over all you get is a poxy mask so hang onto it. It has 22 points of damage and is enchanted with Soul Trap. Take a packful of heal potions to fight Umbra though - also if you are playing a heavy armour character, she has a ton of Ebony armour.

Depends how you have been playing the game. I just shot them in the head from range dealing a sneak attack kill. If the noticed me, I went invisible and then stuck my dagger up their arse for another sneak attack. Even if you do contract the disease, just go to an alter and you will be cured of the initial disease. If the vamporism takes hold though, your in for a rough ride. Most people quit if that happens, but I quite enjoyed that story line. I must be a masochist or something.

It was fun being super powerful for a while but a pain in the arse when people wouldn't talk to you anymore and you burned in the sun, still good for kicking arse in the night though.
