    An excellent issue as always, but I found the review of Gran Turismo 5 to be more the thoughts of a fan of the series than an objective critique. It is, quite simply, a dated and really rather boring game. Six years ago, grinding may have been a reasonable way to progress in a driving game, but in 2010/11 it feels regressive and poorly designed. Graphically it’s all over the place, and progressing has been made more of a chore as races are gone through again and again just to make progression possible. I decided to dig out my old copy of GT4 the other day, and it is a more playable and more polished game. It’s also far cheaper.

    I agree with you about that review Guv, but at least they put the game as worse than Forza 3. Pity is that they didn’t mention almost any of the game flaws.
